SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and aims at maintaining intracavity (abdominal) pressure in order to facilitate visualization of internal surface condition and cavity contents during laparoscopic operations and other medical procedures. Insufflator contains a high-pressure gas source connected to a gearbox with pressure gauge. Output of the gearbox is connected to input of the Rank-Hillsha vortex tube. Hot and cold outlets of Rank-Hillsha vortex tube are connected to insufflated cavity and equipped with pressure gauges for outlet pressure control.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is simple design, the absence of moving parts, which improves reliability and fault tolerance of the model, as well as providing a wide range of operating pressure with the possibility of heating supplied gas inside the cavity.
