GAS DISTRIBUTION STATION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2225567 C1

FIELD: gas distribution facilities. SUBSTANCE: given gas distribution station is designed to decrease pressure of natural gas to required level for supply gas to power generating, industrial and agricultural objects and populated areas across branches from main gas lines. Traditional gas distribution station has high- and low- pressure gas pipe-lines with gas cleaning and pressure reducing units, has vortex Rank-Hilsh tube with three adjustable flows which compressed air input is connected with high-pressure pipe-line through cleaning unit and hot-flow outlet is connected to heat exchanger located in processing block to heat control unit. Salient feature of proposed gas distribution station is design of heat exchanger, which is heating device built into internal separating wall of station units functioning as heater of internal space of processing block at same time. Vortex tube includes external cylindrical body, energy separation chamber coaxial to it, diaphragm and unit adjusting section of tangential nozzle inlet that comes in the form of servo drive longitudinally moved by rod inside body of cylindrical sleeve of vortex tube. On side of diaphragm it interacts with outlet section of nozzle inlet of compressed air to energy separation chamber across which outlet branch pipe to tap hot flow is positioned. It forms ring entrapping slit jointly with chamber to remove condensate by means of radial scroll casing. Tube for removal of hot flow is linked with its outlet behind slit to inlet of ejector through heating device. EFFECT: raised level of operational reliability of pressure reducing unit, decreased cost of gas distribution station thanks to simplified design of heating system, diminished overall dimensions of gas distribution station with saving of natural gas, improved ecological characteristics of station. 2 dwg
