FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for suction of liquids and gases from surgical wounds and body cavities during surgical and conservative treatment; also, the device can be used in dentistry as saliva ejector. A surgical suction unit comprises a high-pressure gas source, a gas reducer with pressure gauges, a Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube. Tube inlet is connected to high-pressure gas source via gas regulating reducer with two pressure gauges and filter for air drying and purification. Hot end of vortex tube with air silencer has outlet into atmosphere. Cold end of vortex tube with air silencer is equipped with vacuum gauge and connected via flexible pipeline with intake receiving cover air channel. Pipeline is made of polymer and is equipped with antibacterial filter. Providing simplicity of design, absence of moving parts, which improves reliability and fault tolerance.
EFFECT: wide operating pressure range is achieved.
