FIELD: transportation; satisfaction of human vital needs.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for preventing blinding of an operator controlling a vehicle. Proposed system consists of sun shield having housing and support device. System further includes an electric motor with a reduction gear, an illumination sensor, a video camera having a face recognition mode, a control unit arranged so that the sun visor body is fixed on the output shaft of the reduction gear which is attached through the support device to the vehicle body. Electric motor is attached to the housing of the reducer, the shaft of which is connected to the input shaft of the reduction gear, the electric motor has three outputs, the first of which is connected to the on-board network of the vehicle, the second through the first output of the control unit – to the video camera with the mode of face recognition, and the third one – to the vehicle body. Simultaneously, control unit is connected by its second lead to light sensor, and third – to onboard network of vehicle. Ambient light sensor and video camera with face recognition mode are fixed on vehicle body, connected to it by their negative leads and directed to operator, which controls vehicle.

EFFECT: protection of operator from blinding with sun rays or beams of another light source.
