SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road traffic safety systems. A single-board microcomputer 8, upon receiving video information from a USB video camera 4, compares the received signal with an electronic photograph of persons allowed to drive a vehicle, stored in the memory of a device 13. If identification of the driver is impossible, as in the case caused by alcohol or drug intoxication, and in the absence of an electronic photograph in the permitted database, the single-board microcomputer 8 generates an alarm message which, through a GSM/GPRS modem 15, informs the Era GLONASS or eCall security system on the vehicle to that effect.
EFFECT: automatic generation and transmission of an alarm message on the condition of a driver and the location of the vehicle.
