SUBSTANCE: invention relates to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used for prediction of efficacy of antibacterial drug therapy of simple and toxic-allergic forms of chronic tonsillitis in individuals 18–35 years old. Before prescribing drug-induced antibacterial therapy with preparations, to which a specific agent has sensitivity in vitro, the state of microcirculation in tonsils is determined. Microcirculation in tonsils is determined using an apparatus, for example, LACC-M in laser Doppler flowmetry. Sensor is placed on a region of the pharyngeal side of each tonsil; a microcirculation index (MI) is recorded. Patient's MI value is compared with the MI value as high as 17.9 ± 1.2 perf. units Criterion of ineffectiveness of antibacterial therapy is considered to be MI value making 40 % and less of MI value normal.
