SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to restorative medicine and neurology, and can be used for treating patients in vegetative state (VS). That is ensured by kinesiotherapy with proprioceptive stimulation and movement with the help of a rehabilitation device. Patient is placed on a support – a couch of Ekzarta kinesitherapeutic installation, for which the patient's body or body parts are fixed in suspensions. Patient's sensory stimulation is performed by giving the body a definite position on the couch or lifting individual parts of the body above the support and held in that position, and changing the body position in space. Performing a complex of physical exercises aimed at stimulating proprioceptive, tactile, vestibular perception and overcoming tonic reflexes, eliminating symmetrical and asymmetric cervical tonic reflexes. Also tactile and proprioceptive perception is stimulated. Other types of perception are stimulated: auditory, vibration, taste, and also olfactory senses.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the depth of neurological symptoms and bringing the patients into a state of complete consciousness, contact with surrounding people, recovering swallowing and mastication, restore articulation, facial expressions and movement of extremities, as well as improve regulation of posture due to certain phasing of complex exercises in combination with stimulation of various types of perception.
