FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to devices for charging a second battery in an electronic smoking device from a first battery in a charging device. It is achieved by the fact that the charging process is adapted to reduce the charging current during the "current phase of constant value", thereby maintaining the voltage of the first battery higher than the minimum threshold voltage. Due to this, the first battery can charge the second battery by at least one charge cycle more, even if fast charging cannot be performed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing battery charging system from battery, which can provide fast charging, but at the same time which can support increased number of charging cycles, before charging battery will need to be recharged or replaced.
