FIELD: communication lines.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to cable technology, in particular to a method of producing a high-frequency symmetric communication cable with corbel-film insulation in a polyethylene shell, intended for use in communication lines. Method is characterized by that drawing of copper wire is carried out, laying a cord-and-polystyrene insulation, twisting star-quad of insulated cores with winding of each colored winding with a color distinctive thread, wherein in quad two strands located along diagonal, form working pair, performing quads twisting in core by concentric layers, performing combined process of waist insulation from polyethylene terephthalate tape, screen from aluminum-polyethylene tape with longitudinally laid under it copper tin-plated wire and shell from light-stabilized polyethylene simultaneously on shell marking is applied.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the cable production process by reducing the number of operations.
