FIELD: fishing and fish farming.

SUBSTANCE: trawl comprises front rope and end net parts, side selections, top and bottom rebounds. On lower rebound there is a sickle-shaped insert made of netting, wherein rear edge of sickle-shaped insert is connected with lower rebound, and front edge of sickle-shaped insert is equipped with uniformly additional loading. Front edge of the sickle-shaped insert is equipped with buried shields made of waterproof elastic material in the form of equilateral triangles. Each of the angles of the triangle is provided with lugs, wherein two front lugs are attached to the front edge of the sickle-shaped insert, and the third rear lug is to the vita located on the crescent insert net and connecting the front and back edges of the crescent insert. Rope made of material with positive buoyancy is passed through third rear lugs, rope ends are attached to trawl bottom pickup at attachment point of crescent insert to it and provided with rope tensioning devices. Method provides for the trawl setting and towing, creation of the vortex line, creation in the trawl towing of the forced forcing flow by the crescent insert movement located on lower trawl selection by means of rope adjustment by means of its tensioning devices.

EFFECT: invention provides higher catchability of trawl.
