FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and devices for receiving, transporting and unloading long metal products, such as bars, rods, coming from a hot rolling mill. Device drum comprises at least one pair of peripheral channels running parallel to the axis of the drum, for simultaneous reception of two long products and their subsequent unloading into one recess of the cooling platform of the device. System comprises at least one device for receiving, transporting and unloading long metal products, at least one cover for cooperation with each channel of the drum and at least one guide with at least two inlet sections.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the device and simplifying handling of rods coming from different sections of a rolling mill, as well as at increasing productivity.
