SUBSTANCE: apparatus for food preparation includes a selectively closed container for alternating operating modes of a mechanism operating between an open cooking platform and a food preparation platform under pressure. Selectively closed container includes cover with locking mechanism located inside cover, which is actuated by means of handle rotation, so that the base area of the selectively closed container can be comparable in size to the conventional open container to limit space in restaurants with limited service. Apparatus for food preparation may also include an auxiliary pressure part, so that the selectively closed container effectively achieves the desired pressure for small batches of the food product when used as a pressurized food preparation platform.
EFFECT: combined apparatus for food preparation under pressure and open cooking.
