FIELD: food preparation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a frying apparatus for frying food products. The frying apparatus comprises an oil bath base including an oil bath with an internal surface constituting at least partially a metal plate, and a basket configured to be placed in the oil bath and removed therefrom. The basket includes a metal mesh. The oil bath base comprises a bath attachment apparatus configured for the basket to be placed in the oil bath without the basket conducting electricity to the inner surface, and a conductor including a conducting electrode located on the oil bath base. The conducting electrode is isolated from the inner surface conducting an alternating current to the metal mesh when the basket is placed in the oil bath. The basket comprises a basket attachment apparatus configured to provide, in combination with the bath attachment apparatus, placement of the basket in the oil bath without the basket conducting electricity to the inner surface, and an electricity receiver configured to receive electricity from the conducting electrode and conducting electricity to the metal mesh when the basket is placed in the oil bath. The bath attachment apparatus serves as a conductor, and the basket attachment apparatus serves as an electricity receiver, and one of the bath attachment apparatus and the basket attachment apparatus comprises a hook and the other comprises a hook hitching element. Electricity is only conducted when the hook is hitched to the hook hitching element.
EFFECT: technical result is the conduction of an alternating current and the use of the basket as an electrode for forming an electric field and for forming a dynamic electric field between the side surfaces of the basket and the inner surfaces of the oil bath.
