FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to surgery and represents a method for assessing the preparedness for plastic wound closure in patients with diabetic foot syndrome by examining a biological fluid, characterized by that patient's postoperative blood serum taken from vein closest to inflammation focus is examined for tumor necrosis factor (TNF) once in three days and if its value is less than 8.21 pg/ml, conclusion is made on possibility performing plastic wound closure: conducting autodermoplasty or applying two sutures.
EFFECT: method enables high-accuracy determination of a favorable moment for autodermoplasty or two sutures that significantly reduces the number of local postoperative complications and improves quality of treatment.
