FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: on the second postoperative day, patient's blood serum is examined for low-density lipoproteins, malonic dialdehyde, glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase. Their integrals are calculated as the relation of the content of said lipid peroxidation products and antioxidant enzymes in the patients to an average content in healthy people. A prognostic coefficient is calculated by the relation of productions of the integrals of lipoproteins and malonic dialdehyde (P1×P2) to glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase (P3×P4) by formula If the prognostic coefficient is 3.0 or higher, an unfavourable clinical course of the wound process is predicted.
EFFECT: accurate estimation of the clinical course of the wound process accompanying diabetic foot syndrome ensured by evaluating the content of blood plasma lipid peroxidation products and antiradical protection products.
