FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of construction and repair of road surfaces and can be used in the construction of expansion joints of closed type with macadam-mastic filling. Composition for filling pavement joints of road pavements includes, wt%: gabbro-diabase stone chips 40.0–90.0, microballs and/or microspheres from radar absorbent material, produced by plasma technology, 0.5–50.0, bitumen-polymer mastic 5.0–40.0, note here that said chips, microballs and/or microspheres are pre-dried and simultaneously hydrophobisated with organosilicon water-repellent in amount of 0.1–5.0 % of processed material weight with application of microwave radiation. Invention also relates to a method for preparing said composition. Invention is developed in dependent claims.
EFFECT: improving reliability and serviceability of road surface joints of road surfaces due to use of composition for filling seams, having high heat resistance, frost resistance, radiation resistance, water resistance and vibration resistance.
