FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to system (90) for reducing pressure and cooling for steam and/or condensed gases in shell (6) of a nuclear power plant, comprising steam condenser (24) having an inlet port connected to shell (6) through outlet line (10), and outlet port connected with shell (6) through return line (30). Said return line comprises return compressor (32) and secondary cooling system for secondary cooling of steam condenser (24). According to present invention, technical result is achieved, since said secondary cooling system is self-sustaining. Also disclosed are a nuclear power plant and its shell protection system.
EFFECT: possibility of efficient secondary cooling of condenser (24) of steam.
