SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to immunology, and can be used for production of nanoparticles from iron oxide, functionalised by PEG. Method of producing nanoparticles involves thermal decomposition of iron acetyl acetonate in the presence of functionalised PEG molecules or in the presence of functionalised molecules of PEG and benzyl ether, and the thermal decomposition temperature ranges from 80 to 300 °C. Group of inventions also relates to a version of a method of producing nanoparticles, involving contacting the pMHC with iron oxide nanoparticles obtained using said method.

EFFECT: using the given group of inventions enables to obtain iron oxide nanoparticles functionalised with PEG for expansion of regulatory B-cell populations in a subject.
