FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to sheet from non-textured electrical steel used as material of iron cores of engines. Sheet has a chemical composition containing the following in wt. %: C: not more than 0.0050, Si: 0.1–5.0, Mn: 0.02–3.0, sol. Al: not more than 0.0050, P: not more than 0.2, S: not more than 0.0050, N: not more than 0.0040, rest is Fe and unavoidable impurities. Total concentration of Ca in steel is 0.0010–0.0080 wt. %, total concentration of oxygen is not more than 0.0100 wt. %, ratio of total concentration of Ca to total concentration of oxygen is not less than 0.50 and not more than 2.0, and ratio in composition of CaO steel to SiO2 in present oxide inclusions in section along thickness of sheet in direction of rolling and having size in direction of sheet thickness of not less than 0.2 mcm is 0.50–4.0.
EFFECT: high magnetic flux density and low losses in iron.
