FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of composite materials with a ceramic matrix, having high resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. Method of making a part includes making a part by forming a ceramic matrix in pores of a fibrous structure, wherein the ceramic matrix is formed by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis from the powder composition present in the pores of the fibrous structure. According to one of the versions, the matrix contains Si2N2O by weight for the most part, obtained as a result of reaction between silicon powder, silicon oxide powder and gas phase containing N2, as well as TiN and TiB2 phases, which are formed by chemical reaction between powder containing titanium, powder containing boron, and gas phase containing N2. Part made by this method is used in the turbine engine. Other versions of matrix of composite materials made by disclosed method contain silicon carbide and titanium carbide with aluminium nitride, or main phase of BN and TiCN, or Al2O3 and SiC, or SiAlON.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is high resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high operating temperatures and simple method of producing articles.
