FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means of creating a vortex funnel in a rotary fluid medium, in particular in a rotating fluid medium of a plasma compression system. System comprises a vessel into which a fluid medium is injected through one or more inlet openings, and a fluid circulation system, made with possibility to provide circulation of fluid medium in vessel so that fluid medium is removed from vessel through drain hole and returned back into vessel through one or several inlet holes. On one of the walls of the vessel there is a first rotator, while the second rotator is installed on the opposite wall of the vessel, due to which the second rotator is spaced at a certain distance from the first rotator and faces it. When fluid circulation system initiates circulation of fluid medium in vessel, vortex funnel is formed, which occupies entire space between first and second rotators so that one end of the vortex funnel is located on the surface of the first rotator, and the opposite end of the vortex funnel is located on the surface of the second rotator.

EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of predicting parameters and controlling parameters of the vortex funnel in a rotating fluid medium with the possibility of stabilizing the volume of the fluid medium.
