METHOD OF PETROLEUM SEPARATION FROM PARTICLES COATED WITH PETROLEUM, DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT AND HARD PARTICLE SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2129586 C1

FIELD: preparation of petroleum for processing; separation of hard particles, sand and water from petroleum. SUBSTANCE: raw petroleum in the form of suspension of particles in it is loaded into body provided with fluidizing installation facing the bottom of body. Installation fluidizes particles and directs them from body to separator, it particular to one or several hydrocyclones where petroleum and water flow is separated from sand particles with water. Initial flow may be introduced into body through cyclone separator which provides for certain preliminary separation. Vortex motion is imparted to liquid near outlet hole of body which results in formation of funnel and partial separation of petroleum, water and hard particles. Vortex motion is created by means of liquid-delivery branch pipe provided with tangential inlet hole. Chemical substances facilitating petroleum separation from water are added to water supplied to fluidizing installation. Device for method embodiment has body, fluidizing installation positioned in body and hydrocyclone, as well as three-phase separator to which drain pipe runs from body. Fluidizing installation is provided with liquid-delivery branch pipe and outlet branch pipe arranged inside liquid-delivery branch pipe. Outlet branch pipe is coupled to hydrocyclone for separation of liquid and hard material. Hydrocyclone outlet branch pipe serves for separation of liquid from liquid. Separator represents autoclave in which at least one hydrocyclone serves as cyclone separator. Branch pipes of hydrocyclone come out into closed lower chamber where fluidizing installation is positioned. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and economy. 29 cl, 5 dwg
