CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC POWER TRANSMISSION NETWORKS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H02J3/12 G05F1/14

Abstract RU 2697192 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power engineering for control over network operation and maintenance of quality characteristics of supplied electric energy within preset limits. Control system for power transmission networks comprises at least one controlled component in the form of a power transformer with voltage control under load, a control center acting on said controller, remote data collection and processing units with current and voltage measuring transformers and analogue-to-digital converters installed on transformer substations of the distribution network and connected to a digital communication channel control center. In the control center there installed is an information storage unit from remote collection and data processing units and a connection controller with possibility of correlation processing of current information from remote data collection and processing units and information stored in the information storage unit. Remote data collection and processing units are configured to measure voltage and current amplitudes of direct sequence: active, reactive and full power, power factor, operating voltage and current values for each phase of the electrical network.

EFFECT: higher quality of power supplied to consumers due to reduction of determination of a control system for transmission and distribution networks, imparting intellectual properties to it, facilitating "self-training" of the system, as well as due to possibility of taking into account of multiple characteristics affecting power quality.
