FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and electric power industry. Essence: the system for remote detection of a damaged section of a power line of an extensive electrical network contains a block for collecting and transmitting information associated with sensors of an emergency process at a transformer substation. Each emergency process sensor includes a current sensor, a voltage sensor, a battery pack and a microprocessor control unit that compares the received current and voltage values with the short circuit current and voltage setpoint values, including a radio communication module. Electricity meters are used as emergency process sensors at the transformer substation, the meters are connected to the system oscillogram analysis unit, which is a top-level server. The oscillogram analysis block consists of a logical block for collecting and storing oscillograms, a logical block for extracting emergency and pre-accident components, a logical block for calculating and issuing a result, which is connected to the supervisory control system. Each metering device is placed directly on the phase wires in the low voltage input switchgear of the transformer substation. The radio communication module transmits emergency oscillograms to the system for remote detection of a damaged section of a power line of an extensive electrical network.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining the damaged section on power lines, ensuring the observability for all sections of the electrical network, possibility of localizing the damaged sections in automatic mode.
