FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power supply for electric networks contacting with current collectors of vehicles. Disclosed is method of controlling railway power supply system, which consists of electric and non-electric value detectors, local controllers of actuating devices and pilot controllers containing computing devices. Pilot controllers comprises means for predicting changes in training mode and device parameters based on rapid assessment of control results and are divided by functional purpose. Note here that pilot controllers, local controllers of actuating devices, control centre and data unit for evaluating state of electric mains are connected by their protocols to data exchange medium, which contains updated virtual model of electrical network with variable area of responsibility based on specified action sensitivity of actuators to mode parameters. Coordination of control and local controllers between each other is carried out via data exchange medium.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and broader functional capabilities of railway power supply system control.
