FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modifying device for medium voltage panels, as well as to medium voltage panel using such device. Technical result is achieved by the fact that modification device for medium voltage panels contains multiple first and second horizontal contacts of automatic circuit breaker (ACB) levelled in first and second horizontal planes, a plurality of first and second vertical contacts of the distribution device panel aligned in the first and second vertical planes, a first set of rods comprising first connecting members for connecting each of the first horizontal contacts ACB with the corresponding first vertical contact of the switch gear panel, second set of rods, comprising second connecting elements for connection of each of second horizontal contacts AB with corresponding second vertical contact of switch gear panel. First connecting elements contain the first section and the second section connected to each other and made with possibility to change the angular position relative to each other in the vertical plane, being in the unlocked state. Second connecting elements comprise the third section and the fourth section connected to each other and made with possibility to change the angular position relative to each other in the vertical plane, being in the unlocked state. There is a first locking device for blocking the first and second sections, as well as the third and fourth sections in the required position, in which the first horizontal contacts ACB and the second horizontal contacts ACB are located, in fact, in the same vertical plane.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of simple and effective modifying technical solution, which will provide possibility of replacement of existing automatic circuit breaker in vertical panel with new automatic circuit breaker containing horizontal connecting contacts.
