SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for scaring off insects. Portable device on gaseous fuel for dispensing of substance evaporating at heating includes means of connection with reservoir for receiving fuel tank, wherein engagement of fuel tank with means of connection with reservoir leads to opening valve in fuel tank and inlet of gaseous fuel into valve of pressure regulator, and the pressure regulator valve is configured to control it by the movable plunger; a valve spring pressing the pressure regulator valve towards the closed position, and a control spring pressing the movable plunger with a counter force pressing the pressure regulator valve in the open position direction; a valve switch having a "off" position and an "on" position controlled by the user and functionally connected to the lever; wherein said lever is functionally connected with the plunger stop and is configured to cause its movement, which leads to alternate opening and closing of the pressure regulator valve when moving the valve switch alternately between the "on" and "off" positions; a pressure regulator connected in fluid communication with the pressure regulator valve and a control valve of the pressure regulator with maintaining the preset gas pressure downstream of the pressure regulator when the pressure regulator valve is open; fuel combustion facility located downstream relative to pressure regulator and connected to it by fluid medium; and a support plate having a thermal connection with the fuel combustion means, as well as having a heated surface for heating the substance evaporating when heated; wherein when the valve switch is moved to the "off" position, the lever moves the plunger stop against the regulator spring pressing with movement of the movable plunger and closing the pressure regulator valve, and when the valve switch is moved to the "on" position, the lever moves the plunger stop in the opposite direction so as to provide a spring-loaded regulating of the movable plunger opposite to the valve spring pressing, wherein it is possible to proportion the flow of gaseous fuel passing through the fuel combustion means at a predetermined rate, the pressure regulator valve when it is open, to maintain preset rate of fuel combustion, at which support plate is heated to preset temperature sufficient for release of substance evaporating when heated from heated surface.

EFFECT: invention allows to extend the device service life.
