FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of lubricating system in internal combustion engine. Method of forming a pressurized lubricating circuit in an engine component involves shaping the material of the melted core to form an internal pressurized lubricating circuit by forming three sections. Each section has a smooth cone-shaped shape with continuously varying effective diameter without stepwise inhomogeneity to form the corresponding channel in the lubricating circuit. At least one section is shaped to curved shape with radius of curvature more than twice greater than maximum diameter of said section. Three sections are connected to each other by means of Y-shaped connection. Fused core insert is formed in the first tooling by means of the said three sections and Y-shaped connection of the melted core material in the continuous metal shell. Melted core insert is placed in the second tooling. Component workpiece is formed by feeding material into second tooling to form housing enveloping melted core insert. Material of melted core is removed from workpiece with leaving shell to create flow channels in lubricant circuit of component. Steps of formation of the melted core insert, location of the molten metal insertion, formation of the component workpiece and removal of the melted core material are performed successively. Disclosed is version of method of forming pressurized lubricating circuit in engine component.
EFFECT: creation of lubricating circuit with reduced losses of flow.
