SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to inhibition of structural damage progression in patients with psoriatic arthritis. Described is a method of such inhibition in which approximately 150 mg or approximately 300 mg of an anti-IL-17 antibody with corresponding amino acid sequences V_H and V_L are injected subcutaneously each month. Approximately 300 mg of such anti-IL-17 antibody is administered if observing in the past medical history of an inadequate response to previous treatment with TNF-α antagonist or simultaneous presence of psoriasis. Approximately 150 mg of the anti-IL-17 antibody is administered if the patient is TNF-intact and does not suffer from psoriasis. Described is the use of secukinumab for inhibiting the progression of structural injuries in the patients with psoriatic arthritis in the modes of administration described above, approximately 150 mg and approximately 300 mg.

EFFECT: using the invention provides an individual approach to the patient, namely: selecting an antibody dose depending on the presence or absence of accompanying psoriasis or pre-treatment with TNF-alpha inhibitor.
