FIELD: home appliances.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household appliances and is intended for air heating in a room. Disclosed is an air heating device comprising a housing of an axisymmetric shape, inside which there are heat exchange tubes, a fan with an electric motor, fixed on the input end, wherein the electric motor is connected to the electric power source by electric wires, and as electric power source there used is thermoelectric generator containing thermoelectric elements clamped between heat-supplying and heat-removing radiators. Heat-conducting radiator is T-shaped, the thermoelectric elements are fixed under the casing, which in turn is fixed on casing 1, and clamped between the heat-supplying and heat-removing radiators. Heat-removing radiator is made in the form of a plate ribbed on one side, and the ratio of the heat sink radiator surface area S1 to area of thermoelectric element in plan S0 can be performed in the following range: S1/S0=2–8, where S0 is area of thermoelectric element in plan S0, S1 is heat sink radiator working surface area S1. Seebeck elements can be used as thermoelectric elements. Housing can be made in cylindrical shape in cross section. Housing can be rectangular in cross section. Housing and heat exchange tubes can be made of stainless steel. Housing and heat exchange tubes can be made from aluminum alloy. Partitions for periodic change of heat carrier flow direction can be made in the cavity of the housing perpendicular to heat exchange tubes.
EFFECT: reduction of aerodynamic losses from heat-conducting radiators and prevention of thermoelectric elements burn-out.
