FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-exchange instruments based on thermal pipes, which may be used for cooling electronic, electric and other heat-producing instruments. The invention also relates to heat exchange engineering used for cooling heat-producing hardware. The cooling unit for heat-producing hardware includes heater, heat-receiving basis, heat-transfer element of heat pipe type contacting with heat-receiving basis. The heat-transfer element is made up of the housing with a wick of capillary structure. The cooling unit also contains a set of multi-element thermo electrical generators being installed on the condensate part of heat pipe and connected with the heater. There is a dielectric and highly heat-conducting layer between heat pipe body and capillary wick. The body of condensate heat pipe part is lattice structures, and thermo electrical generators are installed inside the lattice cells. The generators form the set of generators, which are coupled with dielectric and highly heat-conducting layer.
EFFECT: simplification of unit design, reduction of power consumption for cooling purposes and use of removed heat for power production.
