FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing heat-resistant acyclic polyimides. Disclosed is a method of producing acyclic polyimides by reacting dinitriles with dicarboxylic acids in a solution of tetramethylene sulphone at 170 °C for 6–10 hours in the presence of H3[PW12O40]·H2O.
EFFECT: disclosed method reduces temperature, duration and reduces the cost of synthesis of acyclic polyimides.
