FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of aromatic polyamides. Invention describes a method for synthesis of aromatic polyamides by interaction of aromatic dinitriles with bis-phenols in the presence of antimony chloride (III) and aluminum chloride and bromide at temperature 170-220°C for 21-30 h. Invention provides increasing solubility, thermal stability and physicochemical indices of polyamide materials. Proposed polyamides can be used in different technique branches as highly strength and highly temperature-stable binding agents for plastics, fiber glass, glues and films.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
