FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas chromatography and can be used for concentration of impurities by solid-phase extraction with subsequent thermal desorption into a chromatographic column for analysis of impurities in oil, gas, petrochemical industries, medicine, ecology, etc. Disclosed is a sample preparation device for analyzing impurities of low-volatile polar substances in liquid media. Structural innovation is that the device is additionally equipped with an evaporator for preliminary evaporation of the initial liquid sample and its introduction into a sorption tube in the form of vapors for adsorption concentration of impurities, and six-port dosing valve is made on flat plate with three electric pneumatic distributors. When using the disclosed device during gas chromatographic analysis, the initial liquid sample is evaporated and introduced into a stainless steel sorption tube for adsorption of impurities when cooled in a refrigerator with a Peltier cell. Sorption tube is then rapidly heated by electric current and the concentrated impurities are desorbed into a gas chromatographic column for analysis.
EFFECT: high degree of enrichment of impurities of low-volatile polar substances in liquid media.
