FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, in particular, for testing radio and electronic avionics equipment for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Method for evaluating electromagnetic compatibility of on-board radioelectronic equipment is based on the fact that at each of the tested frequencies, by means of each radio receiving device (RRD) from the test avionics, control radiograms containing tables of sound combinations or words are received, speech intelligibility is measured as ratio of correctly received sounds or words to total number transmitted in conditions of radio interference and in their absence, wherein the radio interference sources are each transmitter from the radio antenna, the obtained results are compared with the allowable values and in case of failure of performance of at least one of tested RRD on one of tested frequencies decision is made on violation of EMC conditions.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the EMC estimation method, which excludes use of additional measurement equipment and does not involve partial disassembly of the test avionics.
