FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric testing of multimedia systems of vehicles. Method for evaluating interference immunity of a multimedia system of a vehicle with Hands Free function for resistance to electromagnetic field, in which a test vehicle equipped with a multimedia system with Hands Free function, are placed in special area and exposed to high-frequency electromagnetic field generated by external fields by forming systems. Function security is evaluated under action of electromagnetic field with preset parameters and in configuration of systems/devices corresponding to conversation of driver/passenger with remote user. First, systems/devices are checked, excluding Hands Free function checking, as well as communication channels available in systems/devices for adequacy of protection to acting EMI with specified parameters. If the required security of systems/devices and their communication channels is confirmed, the results of subsequent tests of the Hands Free function are considered uniquely interpretable.

EFFECT: timely assessment of quality of Hands Free function.
