SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical industry, namely to a method for manufacturing a radiopaque composite mass for post mortem angiography. A method for preparing the radiopaque composite paste for post mortem angiography involves preparation of a composition consisting of a radio-opaque substance of barium sulphate 35 %, connected to a carrier substance – flax oil 55 % and hygroscopic chemical substance – polyatomic alcohol – ethylene glycol 10 %, obtained mass is intensely mixed for 10 minutes to obtain homogeneous consistence suspension with viscosity close to blood viscosity.

EFFECT: method described above makes it possible to prepare a composite mass in a cost-effective way, which easily penetrates into blood vessels, up to a terminal bed, does not settle in them and remains for a long time inside the vessel for more than 24 hours, without penetration into surrounding tissues.
