FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical interferometry, in particular to spectral reflectometry, and can be used to obtain phase shift for radiation of optical range. Disclosed device for generating phase shift in optical range, performing phase shift ϕ0 at operating frequency ω0, comprises a dispersion optical element and a combined reflector consisting of successively arranged focusing element and a reference flat mirror installed with possibility of movement along the optical axis of the focusing element and with additional possibility of rotation about an axis lying in the plane of this support flat mirror, perpendicular to refraction plane of the refracting element and passing through the point of intersection of the optical axis of the focusing element and the plane of the reference flat mirror, so that for any frequency ω in operating frequency range of radiation (ω0±Δω/2) phase shift relationship ϕ0 satisfies condition |ϕ(ω)-ϕ0| < ϕ0 Δω/2ω0.
EFFECT: reduced spectral inhomogeneity of the obtained phase shift for different spectral frequency components in the radiation beam and, accordingly, reducing the value of the mirror artifact.
