FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used to determine a central ratio of jaws when making orthopedic structures resting on dental implants, with complete absence of teeth. Working model is made using analogue implants and artificial gingival mask. Model is mounted on at least two abutments on the right and on the left of burnt-out cylinders with their subsequent fixation by screws. Occlusion template carcass is formed of cold polymerisation plastic. Bite occlusal roller is simulated on the formed carcass with the help of basic wax and a screw hole is formed. Obtained bite pattern is fixed with screws to the upper jaw implants. Prosthetic plane is constructed on the upper bite template according to the anatomical landmarks. That way, the height of the lower face is determined taking into account the obtained height of the lower part of the face. Lower occlusion template is fixed and fitted on the implants of the lower jaw. Individual parameters of mandibular motion are determined by recording articular tracts using an electronic axiograph: a sagittal articular path, a left and a right transversal articular path. For registration of articular bones, a bite of the axiograph is fixed to the plastic part of the lower jaw bite template, the face arc of the axiograph with ultrasonic receivers is placed on the upper jaw, a paraocclusion plug with ultrasonic sensors is placed on the bite of the lower jaw. Point of intersection of articular tracts is considered to be a central relation.
EFFECT: method enables determining a central ratio of jaws when making orthopedic structures by determining articular tracts.
