FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for production of pressed articles on press. Stamped article is produced from intermediate billet in three stages. Each stage is implemented with the help of puncheon, matrix and support elements. At the first stage, intermediate billet is gripped, at the second step, vertical walls are obtained, and at the third stage, the upper plate of the pressed article is formed.

EFFECT: proposed are a pressed article manufacturing method, a press and a pressing line.
