FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to metal forming and can be used to form a circular component sector. At least part of workpiece is clamped along the clamped boundary by means of retaining with leaving open section of workpiece within clamped boundary. Die and/or retainer are moved radially to allow the die to come into contact with the blank open section and the workpiece is pulled onto the die outer surface to form the sector from the front edge to the rear edge. Then, workpiece is drawn by means of cooperating forming means to engage workpiece and die with formation of sector of circular component from front edge to edge of inlet opening, then the cutout of the slab and the cutout of the holder of the workpiece holding means and with the definition of the gap are combined to facilitate the die location.
EFFECT: higher quality of drawn sector.
