FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the cosmetic industry, in particular to a cosmetic agent in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising: (A) from 0.05 to 1 wt. % hydrophobically modified alkyl cellulose; (B) from 5 to 40 wt. % of an oil component; (C) from 2.5 to 30 wt. % of ultraviolet scatterer having a hydrophobic surface; and (D) an aqueous phase thickener selected from a group consisting of carboxyvinyl polymers, polyacrylate of sodium, polyethyl acrylate, polyacrylate of alkanolamine, copolymers of alkyl methacrylate and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, poly-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulphonic acid, polymethacryloyloxytrimethylammonium, (acryloyl dimethyl taurate of ammonium/vinylpyrrolidone) copolymers and (sodium dimethylacrylamide/acryloyl dimethyl taurate) of crosspolymers; where (C) the ultraviolet radiation scatterer is dispersed in the oil phase.
EFFECT: present invention provides creation of a cosmetic agent in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, which has a characteristic feeling of freshness when used, settles, as if it melted, when applied on skin, and at the same time has very good protective ability against ultraviolet radiation.
