SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cosmetology and is a starting material for cosmetic products containing a dispersion in the form of a core-crown microgel, which is obtained by radical polymerization of a polyethylene oxide macromonomer having chemical formula 1, a hydrophobic monomer having chemical formula 2, and a cross-linking monomer having chemical formula 3, wherein the molar ratio of the polyethylene oxide macromonomer to the hydrophobic monomers is in the range of from 1/1 to 10/250 mol/mol, the amount of cross-linking monomers is in the range of 0.1 to 1.5 % by weight relatively to the hydrophobic monomers, the hydrophobic monomer is a monomeric composition comprising at least one methacrylic acid selected from the group consisting of methacrylic acid derivatives containing alkyl groups having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, the solvent used for the polymerization is a mixed solvent of water and polyol, wherein at least one polyol is selected from the group consisting of dipropylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol and isoprene glycol, and a mixed solvent of water and polyol has a water to polyol ratio ranging from 90/10 to 10/90 by weight at 20 °C.
EFFECT: invention provides high stability and excellent sensation when used and does not cause skin irritation.
