FIELD: construction; drilling of soil or rocks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to location equipment used in construction of wells by the method of trenchless technology, and is used in positioning systems for horizontal directional drilling. Programmable universal probe comprises a housing with a controlled power supply installed in it to provide nodes of the probe with supply voltage, a controller including a system of accelerometers, a microcontroller and a temperature sensor, an antenna assembly consisting of a ferrite transmitting antenna, and an emissive power meter consisting of a current sensor with an amplifier for measuring power consumption by the antenna unit. Antenna unit is equipped with power switches and input signal amplifier. Ferrite antenna is transceiving, with possibility of receiving parameters of operation of the probe in programming mode and with possibility of transmitting information to the receiver in operating mode. Receiver and programmable universal probe have a compatible protocol for receiving and transmitting data.
EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of drilling head operation, provision of possibility to program probe power, possibility of mode programming falling asleep / not falling asleep, possibility of changing the operating frequency of interaction of the probe and receiver of the operator to any other during drilling without removing the probe from the drilling head, providing an adaptation mode to the drilling head, enabling determination of the control system programmed by the probe.
