FIELD: drilling.
SUBSTANCE: this device refers to locating systems for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and is used when performing trenchless laying of utilities to determine and track the location of the probe installed in the drill head. The essence of the present solution lies in the fact that the receiver of the locating system for horizontal directional drilling, which contains a 3D antenna for receiving a signal from the probe, an RF transceiver unit, microprocessors with microprograms, a display device screen for displaying information, also contains an additional antenna control board and an antenna for pairing and programming by the probe.
EFFECT: invention ensures convenient, informative and effective use of the location system receiver by the user.
