FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optoelectronic equipment and can be used in laser location systems, optoelectronic countermeasures systems, as well as systems of optoelectronic equipment protection from powerful laser radiation. Method for concealing an optoelectronic device (OED) is based on absorbing a portion of the energy of optical radiation incident on an optoelectronic device, installing two matrix optical-electronic coordinator (MOEC) such that their receiving planes are perpendicular to each other and underlying the surface, and their field of vision included an OED location point, performing coordinate fixing and time synchronization of photosensitive elements operation MOEC, receiving MOEC of radiation of a source of directed optical radiation scattered by the atmosphere and determining, based on the coordinates of the photosensitive elements with maximum output signals and from the values of the time of their recording the space-time parameters of the trajectory of the beam of the source of the directed optical radiation of the underlying surface, calculating parameters of the spatial location of the OED and the time spent on reducing the effective scattering area (ESA) of the OED to the required value, critical spatial parameters of the beam of the source of directed optical radiation relative to the spatial parameters of the location of the OED, when the spatial parameters of the beam of the source of directed optical radiation are reached, critical values of reducing the ESA to the required value are achieved.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the effectiveness of concealing the OED.
