FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: active buffer includes a plastic finishing wall which unfolds in the direction of the passenger compartment, and an elastic balloon molded from plastic, which is connected to the wall of the finish by a heat sealed weld to form an inflatable elastic balloon. Elastic balloon element includes at least one substantially circular fold for deployment in response to gas for inflation. Reaction element is attached to the central area of the elastic balloon element to provide a reaction surface. Fold has a flange arranged closer to the reaction element, and an outer belt between the flange and the welded seam, at least part of which passes perpendicularly to the reaction element. Buffer zone is formed around the outer belt between the trim wall and the reaction element. Fold has a ventilation opening formed in the external belt, providing an unobstructed path for gas for inflation from the inflatable elastic bottle into the buffer zone.
