FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, and more specifically to LPRE. Electrothermal LPRE includes electromagnetic fuel valve, thermal resistance, heating chamber (HC) with catalyst, electric heater-gas generator (EG), nozzle and heat insulation. Inside HC there are gas-forming fuel manifold (GFM), around which there is a cylindrical EG, two duplicating each other letting in hinged valves, placed at the beginning GFM – at input to HC, and high pressure chamber (HPC). HPC is freely connected to GFM and changes into Laval nozzle. Inside HPC EG-like power not lower than that of cylindrical EG is arranged to convert gaseous fuel into engine working medium.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
