FIELD: bionanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bionanotechnology, in particular to a method of producing cerium oxide nanoparticles, and can be used in medical and cosmetic industry, household chemistry, production of biosensors, as well as in electronic industry. Method involves preparation of water extract of parsley Petroselinum crispum by grinding fresh leaves in liquid nitrogen to a powdered state, adding distilled water in ratio of 1:10, boiling for 30 minutes, filtering through 2 layers of gauze and centrifugation for 15 minutes at 15,000 rpm, passing through Millipore filter 0.45 mcm, mixing the extract with cerium nitrate, heating while stirring for 6 hours at 80–90 °C, centrifuging at 10,000 rpm for 10 minutes, washing with distilled water, drying of obtained product in furnace by hot air at 60 °C for 6 hours and annealing in muffle furnace at 500 °C for 2 hours.
EFFECT: invention provides biosynthesis of pure organics, monomorphic nanoparticles of cerium oxide with size of 50–80 nm.
