SUBSTANCE: invention suggests using a power matching connection (for example, channel VBUS) of the power supply interface for transmitting or receiving control commands or status information to or from a lighting device. This power matching connection can be used as a communication channel, which is completely independent from the information connection. For example, it uses other protocols and other conductors than an information connection. Control commands, such as determining the level of light attenuation or colour, can be encoded in the manufacturer-defined message of the corresponding power matching protocol.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of the device.
